| Okay I was just about ready to go to bed (Sunday Night )and I thought to myself I have to write in this really quick before I forget and it ends up being another month before I do so again:(
So I really didn't have that busy of a day. It was rather relaxing actually and that's the way it should be:) Nic and I went to Calvary this morning and then went back to CU for lunch. We bummed around this afternoon. We took a snooze in the lounge while watching football. I love football season. The Lions actually won. We went to Calvary tonight. It was a really neat service because the choir and the orchestra performed all their favorite music. It was so amazing. Tonight Nic and I had frozen pizza and watched Extreme Makeover Home Edition. After supper I went back to my room and watched the rest of the Lion's game that Josh taped. He is taping every single Lion's game this season:) GO JOSH!!!!! I watched that and at the same time investigated the new fad of what FACEBOOK is all about. It was so addicting-lol Check it outFacebook me!

| Okay Wow!!!!!
When I first heard about this Xanga thing I thought it would be a
really good habbit to get into. I mean isn't that something that every
body likes to do, get into a routine of doing something fun like
updating their web journal frequently? Well I thought it would be a lot
easier to do. I guess I kinda got pre-occupied with other things. Any
who... lol (sorry its just a saying-lol)
Yeah but anyways, I love being back at school the apartment. Even
though I live with the RA its still awesome. Just to let you know how
awesome and cool it was. We (Nic and I, Natalie (my RA), Mike (her
boyfriend) and Cody (a friend of Mike's)) we all watched Hitch together
in our apartment and it wasn' t like wierd like awkward at all. Well
except when Mike and Cody pretended to spoon ( but that's a whole other
story-lol) (ask me sometime and I'll fill you in. This weekend Nic and
I went on a retreat with like 25-30 other students from Cornerstone to
the Sleeping Bear Dunes. It was kinda a disappointing trip to be quite
honest though. I mean the ride down there was fine and good. However we
did take like 20 extra turns to get there. But we made it eventually.
We got there at about 10:30-11:00 pm last night (Sat). We had to set up
tents in the dark. That was an adventure in and of itself. In the
morning they got us up at 7:30 in the morning. We got to climb to the
top of one of the dunes and we had devotions there. It was quite a
treck to say the least. It was awesome but we didn't stay up
there for more than an hour and then we had to go back to camp. Okay
let me pause a minute and let me tell you the whole purpose of the trip
as I understand it to have been. As a part of SAS (socially aware
students), at CU, Rachel invited Nic and I to go on a retreat with the
CU's entire student body government. We were part of an organization
that I guess is partially part of the government just down at one of
its lowest rungs. So we got to go if we wanted. Nic and I thought "why
not?" we thought it would be fun. So we ended up going with alot more
people than we had initially expected. I mean we had 3 15-passenger
vans. Okay now I can get back to the day... we got back to camp and
rotating around to different "workshops" if you will to kinda get a
feel for where different aspects of the Student Government wanted to
let us know what they were doing or get our imput of what to do for
other things. We also later on in the afternoon, held a mock meeting of
what the meetings would look like for once a month when all the class
reps met along with the board of the highest positions. (The Executive
branch). Don't get me wrong and I know you might get the feeling that I
think the weekend was an entire waste. It was not what we had expected
and I wish I didn't go into with such great expectations but then I
think to myself, after tonight when I got back I was really tired and
Nic was too so we just laid kinda low key tonight and we had some of
the best conversation and some of the most closest time we have ever
shared emotionally together and I think to myself it was all worth it.
Isn't it funny to see how the Lord works sometimes? I am so tired
though and I have to get to bed but I just thought I would try and
update it again and try and get back into a groove of updating more
often.

| Okay, Why is it so hard to keep this thing updated? I think I might know why:) :(
Its because at home I am not always connected to the internet and it takes forever, compared to school to get on. And plus I have to "share it with my sisters" (lol) They say I shouldn't be on so much because I have my own computer but its hard because I don't have internet hook-up on my laptop while at home so that kinda sucks. Anyway, this past weekend was awesome:) Ya know why? Yeah my best friend came to see me. I love you Babe(L) It was so good to see Nic again. It really makes me appreciative of the time when we're both at school and not two hours apart. I can't wait to go to his house, It's my turn to go there next and I can't wait:)
Tonight we are going to my grandma's sister's house ( my great-aunt) with the whole extended family tonight. It should be a pretty fun time, it usually is. So what are you all doing today or tonight? Let me know:)

| Okay so today was my second day by the city and I think I am slowly but surely getting a handle on things. Ya know how it takes awhile to get to the know the people who are always going to be honest with you and then there are others who will "fib" you all day long until they're blue in the face. Well I know of a couple of people who are like that. Today it came out when a police officer came to drop off the SWAT ( I think that's it or its SWAP) anyway he came to drop them off ( they are out on work release from prison) And then Bob the man who I work with said that he didn't know whether or not he was quite all straight or not (if you know what I mean) He said that he was kinda iffy. And then at break most of the guys were saying the same thing that he wasn't straight (come to find out I talked to him later in the day that he said that it was an old joke around there that he had started and now they just wouldn't let it go. (oh my) (lol) Anyway, this morning first I meet at the main place and then Bob and I usually take a truck down to Centenial Park. Once there, I have to clean both bathrooms (mens and women) and I think I am getting that down to a system. Next I usually weed the Tulip beds for awhile or the Trees in the center that are in the big pots. I, then do whatever Bob wants me to, whatever little odd jobs he has me do. Today I watered that big mountain by the pond that has all the flowers out of it. It is so dry and they don't have the waterfall on yet so I did that for like 2 hours just on all sides. And then in between things people are asking you questions on like where things are or when the dancers are going to dance. I got my pic taken for the GR Press today though, that was kinda cool. They do it every year that it won't be in this year but it will be in next as Tulip Time is starting. (kinda weird I know:))
